Measured Building Surveys

At Cube Surveys we are dedicated to provide comprehensive and accurate Measured Building Surveys – including Floor Plans, Elevations, Cross Section Survey and Reflected Ceiling Plans to a wide range of clients. Our measured building surveys provide you with detailed accurate plans to the appropriate scale, quickly and efficiently in order to help you keep to tight schedules.  All our measured building survey teams have a wealth of knowledge and are all suitably qualified so that all clients are assured of the quality and service they will receive.

All staff hold CSCS cards as standard, as well as various other specialist certification depending on their roles. Understanding our clients’ measured building survey needs is important to our staff to make sure they receive the service they expect. By doing this we can make sure the client is getting the survey they require, on time and within the required budget.

Laser Scanning

Laser Scanners are used for a wide range of High-Definition Surveying applications either alongside traditional survey instruments or as an alternative to Total Stations.  Using Laser Scanning instruments, the surveyor can rapidly collect a large amount of accurate coordinated three-dimensional 3D laser points from the surface of remote feature as a ‘point cloud’ image, providing rapid surveying solutions for inaccessible elements and complex geometrical detail. Once the Scanner has scanned a structure or site to create a high-definition survey image it is then processed with modelling software to represent the surface surveyed. The data from the scanned image can then be used for a wide variety of applications including exporting to CAD in 2D or 3D models in wire frame or to other rendering software packages. Topographical Survey Data, Floor Plan data or Elevation data can then be produced from this data.

Measured Building Surveys

Although all of our services can be ordered individually, why not let Cube provide you with a total turn-key package for all your survey requirements.

This could include, for example, a pre-demo Topographic Survey with a Full Utility Survey and Service Record Search at Design stage. This can then be followed up by an updated post demo Topographic Survey and Utility check prior to excavation right through to a post contruction Topographic Survey with all new laid Utilities recorded for your CDM package.

Going down this route will not only ultimately save you money, but will give you continuity of data and an evolving 'living' document.
